Have you been asleep? Did you go back to sleep after the November elections? Did you miss the most lame, Lame Duck Session that we have ever had in December?

Well, the world appears to be on fire now and your little patch of earth will soon be scorched. You cannot run nor hide.

Let's look at what's happening in Wisconsin now. First though, back up and look at the last 2 years. We elected a closet socialist, who's soul purpose is to divide and concur. He and his administration of Czars openly take one person's wealth and give it to the those without. This is a recipe for disaster considering this nation has functioned as limited government and free markets for nearly 300 years just fine. Have we tipped the scales and are going the other way?

This administration is at the half-way point to the next Presidential vote. With the waxing they took with the overwhelming election of their opposition-GOP it's looking dim for the Dems-laugh, that's a joke!

Anyway, it is true that before the 2008 election vote, both sides have been at fault to keep their two party wheel turning. We have a different beast in our government now. This beast works with globalists in an effort to change the face of our country.

When I went to Washington, D.C. in September 2009 for the first major tea party, I rode on a bus with some who had come to this country that had fled the rule of Dictators and oppression where everything is dictated from the wealth to the food. They were concerned then that's what we were facing in the U.S. with Barack Obama as a dictatorial President. I really didn't know then if that were true but I do now. All you have to do is look around and do a a simple search online of historical reference to other oppressed nations with dictators.

The Obama Presidential campaign for 2012 is gearing up and it has started in Wisconsin. Organizing For America is the President's former campaign organization Take 2. They are using the Unions and the people of the Great State of Wisconsin as pawns. They are doing to divide the people. What these government employees have forgotten that they work because the private sector has been thriving. Here's a news flash though, Obama has choked off the private sector, spent money we don't have, forced healthcare upon us, changed the face of the free markets which aren't functioning properly making them puney and anemic. But back to Wisconsin, why are these Union people protesting to keep their benefits. WE THE TAX PAYER IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR ARE PAYING FOR YOU TO WORK.

I wish the good souls siding with the Unions would realize that we need to wake-up and realize we are being used like a fiddle, a pawn if you will. Save the Republic and recognize what this is.

Rubio not backing off just PUSHING TEA PARTY MESSAGE HOME.

Rubio is not backing off or in denial on his tea party message. Read his words. His point is when Washington D.C. bureaucrats create and join fascade "tea party" organizations in D.C., there is a measure of whether or not they actually mean it or will carry the message of WE THE PEOPLE.

If you've attended a tea party in your local community and you have listened to an elected leader speak, especially a sitting one from state or federally, you have had to question whether or not this person is sincere or whether or not their record actually reflects what you expected them to have accomplished.

Rubio is not distancing himself, he is not running for President or anything else. He is walking the walk carefully and only time will tell. This is a distraction from the drive by media on the heals of a President who is about to give his State of the Union speech. The focus should be on a failed President after only two years in office, forcing his agenda and regime on We the People. Nothing more, nothing less. Rubio is a threat to these and the games have begun. Politics is a blood bath.

It's About The SPENDING....Now, Trim The Fat !!

It's about the S.P.E.N.D.I.N.G....stands for -stupid people enjoying nations deficit independence nearly gone.

Why is it that when one political party in this country is in power they over step their boundaries and when the other party is in power they work at cutting and reversing all that the previous political party did prior to their taking over?

That is the beauty of this wonderful system but what do you call it when both sides go too far and just don't get it anymore? I mean when the bureaucrats take us for a ride on a runaway train whether it be on spending, policy or power which leads to budget busting, takeovers, corruption, deficits and more. Arguably enough the other party does it's share of spending, policy making and power grabbing but WHY? Is it because that's the way things work? How about the adage it's our turn now so we are going to get our share? Or how about the phrase 'two sides same coin'? Is that what we are seeing?

What about the American Citizen? Have We the People been stepped on and forgotten? The decisions in Washington, D.C. as well as locally affect us all no matter the party or which side of the issue one chooses to be on but at some point We the People as well as the bureaucrats must realized as one nation that it is WE whom are affected. The quicker the better and it's only a matter of time.

Though they make up less than five percent of the roughly $4 trillion federal budget, the salaries and health and retirement benefits for members of Congress and other government employees have become a target of many of those looking to slash government costs.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, with about 2 million civilian employees, excluding the postal service, the federal government is the nation's largest employer.

(2) REQUIREMENT.–All commissioned officers shall be citizens of the United States and shall be appointed without regard to the civil-service laws and compensated without regard to the Classification Act 2 of 1923, as amended.

(3) APPOINTMENT.–Commissioned officers of the Ready Reserve Corps shall be appointed by the President and commissioned officers of the Regular Corps shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate.

(4) ACTIVE DUTY.–Commissioned officers of the Ready Reserve Corps shall at all times be subject to call to active duty by the Surgeon General, including active duty for the purpose of training.

 One would have thought that with the elections safely behind us and a new year in front of us that all would be right with the world. After all, many of the Tea Party candidates were elected, many "conservative" Republicans were enthroned, and many Democrats were tossed out like yesterday's bad news. But such is not the case. The recently ended lame duck session of Congress ended with a breath-taking agenda being passed because of the avarice -or cowardice - of the Republicans in the Senate and House of Representatives.

Harry Reid, who found as many Republican traitors as he needed to act as willing lackeys for the socialist agenda of the Reid, Pelosi, and Obama Unholy Trinity, couldn't be happier. He passed a stunning array of legislation in the most destructive lame duck sessions in history. From homosexualizing the military, to the giveaway of food sovereignty, to outright betrayal of our country in the passage of the START Treaty. Harry Reid deserves the Benedict Arnold Award for betrayal.

The Republicans should win the award for best supporting cast. Not one of these items could have been passed without the complicity of Mitch McConnell and the Senate Republicans.

Benedict Reid was able to pass S.510, which will destroy small farms in America, cedes food sovereignty of this nation to the DHS, the EPA, and the UN through international treaty, and bans food storage, vegetable stands, and seed storage for Americans. How anybody would be so stupid or traitorous to vote for such a bill is beyond me, but vote they did. Congratulations America … the UN now officially controls your food supplies. Just as an aside, there were no dissenting Republican votes on this bill. It was passed with a unanimous voice vote … so much for just a few bad apples amongst the Republicans in the Senate.

Meanwhile, our military capability has been dramatically reduced by the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. Setting aside the moral, or rather the immoral, implications, which are grave in such a move, Rome found out that just before an empire collapses progressives make open homosexuality possibly in the military. But the presence of these individuals is both disruptive and morale breaking. Privacy is destroyed in the barracks, the showers, and even in combat. Now, add the courts and frivolous "I don't like the way the sergeant treats me" law suits in this litigious society and one cannot imagine that our military will even be able to function a few years from now.

In one final flying digit and insult to their countrymen, and especially those who had the temerity to stand up and say, “Enough!” liberal Republicans and Democrats coalesced and created a series of laws from which America may not recover.

Pathetic RINOs such as, Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts (newly elected with the help of the Tea Party), Lisa Murkowski of Alaska (re-elected as a write-in candidate), newly elected Mark Kirk of Illinois, and liberal retiring lame duck George Voinovich of Ohio (who took one last opportunity to betray his party and his country), newly re-elected Richard Burr of North Carolina, John Ensign of Nevada (who is up for election in 2012), Susan Harridan Collins of Maine (who is up for reelection in 2014), and Olympia Termagant Snowe of Maine (who is up for election in 2012) showed their true colors in the voting to repeal Don't Ask Don't Tell during this lame duck session of congress.

Then there is the START Treaty. This bill should have been filibustered from the beginning. Never before has a treaty of this magnitude been passed during a lame duck session. This debilitating concordant was jammed through the Senate with practically no discussion or debate and no amendments. The provisions of the preamble of this treaty eliminate our defensive missile capability, hurt us numerically in short and mid range missiles, and put the Russians at a marked advantage on almost every front. Did it not occur to any of these cretins that the Russians said they would pull out of the agreement if one word of the treaty was changed because they had us right where they wanted us? Yet, the Democrats with the help of the RINO Senators, just blithely inflicted this treaty upon the American people. This begs the question: Are they just stupid or is there a darker side to this vote?

Voting with the Democrats were 13 Progressive Republican Senators. They included: Alexander (TN), Bennett (UT) - retiring, Brown (MA), Cochran (MS), Collins, ME), Gregg (NH) - retiring, Isakson (GA), Johanns (NE), Lugar (IN), Murkowski (AK), Snowe (ME), Voinovich (OH) - retiring.

I hope every Tea Party American remembers this list of traitors who sold America into treaty slavery in an unprecedented lame duck session voting with other progressives to cripple this nation. They should be recalled, excoriated, and replaced with real Americans. They are progressive seditionists who, while pretending to love their country, are voting for her demise with the creation of this treaty and repeal of DADT.

We'll see what the new Congress brings. But for me, if in about 120 days I don't see a remarkable change in the Republican establishment, I will begin working for a new political party that replaces the Republican sellouts with real Americans, patriots, and statesmen instead of the RINO political hacks that are so content to sell us down the river.

So, my Republican friends, if by May 1, 2011, you have not made major strides in undoing what has been done to us, you will find me doing all I can to replace your party with a party that really cares for America and is willing to put it all on the line to save this country. There are only two sides in this debate - the side of the constitution and the American people - or - the side of the progressive, globalist, socialists who are leading us to their mark of the beast New World Order.

The Birth Of The Savior And The Birth Of America Are Linked

As we approach the celebration of Christ's birth, I am reminded of the words of John Quincy Adams. On July 4, 1837, he spoke these words:

"Why is it that, next to the birthday of the Savior of the world, your most joyous and most venerated festival returns on this day? . Is it not that, in the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior? That it forms a leading event in the progress of the Gospel dispensation? Is it not that the Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer's mission upon earth. That it laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity, and gave to the world the first irrevocable pledge of the fulfillment of the prophecies announced directly from Heaven at the birth of the Savior and predicted by the greatest of the Hebrew prophets six hundred years before?"

Adams was exactly right: America's birth is directly linked to the birth of our Savior. In fact, the United States of America is the only nation established by Christian people, upon Biblical principles, and dedicated to the purpose of religious liberty. This truth is easily observed within America's earliest history.

America's forebears first established a written covenant with God as early as November 11, 1620, when they penned The Mayflower Compact.

It states in part:

"In the name of God, Amen. . Having undertaken, for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith, and Honour of our King and Country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia; do by these presents, solemnly and mutually in the Presence of God and one of another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil Body Politick, for our better Ordering and Preservation, and Furtherance of the Ends aforesaid; And by Virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame such just and equal Laws, Ordinances, Acts, Constitutions and Offices, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the General good of the Colony; unto which we promise all due submission and obedience."

The sentiments and statements of America's founders make it clear that this nation has enjoyed a love and appreciation for the rights and freedoms recognized in Natural Law that is unique in the annals of human history. No other people have such a heritage.

One thing America's founders could not envision was--after they had paid so terrible a price to purchase our liberties--that the time would come when their posterity would be denied the basic freedoms to publicly express their reverence for God. Never could they have imagined that the day would come when citizens of the sovereign states (each with a State constitution protecting religious liberty) would be denied their right to pray in school, or place Nativity scenes on public property, or hang copies of the Ten Commandments on courthouse walls.

I am also confident that America's founders would be completely repulsed by the way the United States has jumped headlong into corporatism, socialism, and globalism. At the national level, Democrats and Republicans alike have created a central government so large that it would be unrecognizable to any Founding Father (even Alexander Hamilton or John Adams). In addition, both Big Business and Big Religion have sold our great country down the old proverbial river. Truly, our Founding Fathers must be rolling over in their

graves.

Therefore, at this Christmas season, let us remember well the founding

principles of these United States of America. Furthermore, let us renew with vigor the fight for freedom before our liberties and our heritage are gone altogether.

Merry Christmas To All From The Baker Family

Tonight will be Christmas eve and it seems to me that the country is a little sadder, a little more reflective, a lot more realistic, and a little less hedonistic this year.  I know that this sounds like a weird opening for a Christmas message, but I think this is a healthy thing.  I think many of us are longing for a simpler, more honest time in America. 

I really miss Christmas and long for the feeling of Christmas I had as a child.  For so long we have made Christmas so glitzy and vulgar that we have missed the real joy of this season.  It is sad, but it's a part of the identity loss we are suffering as a people.  Maybe this year, this adversity we are going through, is not all bad.  And while I sympathize with families out of work at this time of year, perhaps this is giving us pause to reflect on all we've had, all we've lost, and all we have stopped being.

Christmas during my childhood is one of my sweetest memories.  Sure, we had the tree and the presents, and the trappings of Christmas.  But what I remember is not the presents or the trees, but the hot chocolate made with real cocoa.  I remember the Christmas cookies made with all the love of Christmas past.  I remember practicing for the Christmas pageant that the church children put on every Christmas eve.  I remember going to the small little house of my grandparents on Christmas day with all of my aunts and uncles and all of their kids.  I remember the snowball fights, warming by the old stove, and the giggling conversations of children amerced in the innocence of yesteryear.  The Christmas meal wasn't about just eating, it was about family, tradition, and remembering. 

I can still see my long lost uncle from New York sitting there at the table with his brothers and sisters and watching the bond being reformed ... becoming family all over again.  I remember the story telling and the good natured ribbing.  I remember the presentation of the turkey and the home made noodles (weird Christmas tradition at the Baker's Christmas table) which I loved. 

I can recall so vividly the color of the sky as evening set in on Christmas day.  That was a time when all the world was right.  By this time in the evening, all the kids were wet, cold and tired and ready for more hot chocolate and freshly baked homemade pie.  And following the pie came games.  The kids would be at the table in the basement playing board games and the adults would play cards at the huge dining room table, which would comfortably seat about 12 to 14 people.   Grandma and Grandpa had eight children and a large table was a necessity. 

I remember the drive home to our little town of Rochelle in northern Illinois near the Wisconsin border.  There was one street over which the trees made a tunnel in the summer, but in the winter, on those Christmas night rides home, I remember the way the moon silhouetted those leafless trees.  I remember the blue and purple tint to the moonlight that colored the snow and made everything look cold, but somehow peaceful. 

But I also remember what we celebrated.  I know that Christmas is not the real time of the birth of the Messiah, but then we didn't know that … we just knew that this was a special event.  From my earliest remembrance we knew the story of the shepherds watching their flocks by night.  We knew about Mary, the young mother tenderly caring for her child lying in swaddling clothes in a cold dark manger.  We knew of the star of Bethlehem and the wise men.   We knew of the glory of the angels filling the sky as even the heavens could not contain the power and the joyous rapture of this event. 

Luke 2: 8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9: And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10: And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11: For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12: And this [shall be] a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13: And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Peace on earth good will toward men.  And yet there is no peace on earth.  This Christmas we have members of our armed forces braving the elements and facing Islamo extremism around the world; our politicians have betrayed us again and again in Washington D.C., and state capitals around the country.  Our financial crisis threatens to destroy our economy and millions of our country men are jobless and scared.  Justice evades our courts and arrogance rules in the White House. 

But even in this midst of this turbulence and betrayal, we can look forward to a time when all of this will be replaced with a prophesied righteous government which will be established forever.  And fortunately, we have the surety, the down payment of the promise posited with us at this Christmas season.  Let me share with you the prophecy of that time of righteous government, which came as the spirit moved the prophet Isaiah, 700 hundred years before the birth of the Messiah.

Isaiah 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

9:7: Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

There will come a time when all that we see: the violence, the corruption, and the brutality of humankind come to an end and there will come to this earth that which the very earth itself has cried out for ... peace.  The peace of Christmas; the peace that was wrought when the King of kings chose to make himself the peace offering for all of us. 

It is indeed astounding to think that the Creator of all things would humble Himself to the birth of a peasant that we might be made kings and priests; And from that rude, cold and dark manger the world would find life, and light, and finally the peace that passes all understanding and brings joyous hope to an otherwise sad and broken humanity.  How great is our salvation? How great is our God? How sure is the hope of those whose God is the Lord?

This Christmas season, Katie and I wish for you memories of the innocence of Christmas past, the  joy of the shepherds as they gathered at the manger celebrating the fulfillment of all their hopes and dreams throughout the generations of Israel and in your heart, we wish for you, peace ... the peace that comes from knowing that our Messiah is no longer a helpless babe in a manger but the Lion of Judah and our loving redeemer that came to this earth for all, but more importantly He came for you.  Had there been no one else on this planet but you ... he still would have come, for you.

That, dear friends, is the message and meaning and the Peace of Christmas and it is that, we wish for you all.
